Zonta Women in Business Leadership Award
Women have made significant progress in education, careers, and leadership but remain underrepresented in business, holding 34% of S&P 500 committee chair roles, 31% of director seats, and only 8.2% of CEO positions as of March 2023.
The Zonta Women in Business Leadership Award honours women who exhibit outstanding leadership, entrepreneurship, and ethical conduct while making meaningful contributions to their industries and addressing issues affecting women, girls, or climate justice.
One application provides up to two award opportunities:
1. Area 3 Level: All Zonta Clubs in Western Australia have united to offer an Area 3-level award, valued at AU$1,500.
2. International Level: The successful District 23 applicant will be forwarded to Zonta International for consideration for an additional US$10,000 International Award.
The application process must start with a Zonta Club.
Eligibility
Women, aged 18-35 at the time of application, who demonstrate evidence of the following are eligible to apply.

Exceptional leadership in a business-related field of study or industry.

Entrepreneurial spirit.

Ethical conduct.

Significant contributions to addressing global or local issues affecting women and girls or climate justice.
Applicants must reside or study in a Zonta district/region and show exceptional potential in their field. Online and international students are also eligible to apply.
